Why the Recall?
FDA warns listeria can cause serious illness — especially for children, elderly, and pregnant women.
Dates & Products
Products sold starting Sept. 25 with expiration dates from Sept. 30–Oct. 7 are included in the recall.
Symptoms to Watch
Listeria infection may cause fever, headache, nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and pregnancy risks.
Refund Process
Customers can return the salad or receipt to Giant Eagle/Market District for a refund.
Consumer Alert System
Giant Eagle used its MyPerks loyalty card system to notify affected households by phone.
