The storm has maximum winds of 105 mph, just below Category 3.

It’s centered 185 miles southwest of Baja California’s southern tip.

Outer bands are already reaching Baja California Sur.

Schools closed in Los Cabos & La Paz; shelters opened as precaution.

Priscilla could bring up to 4 inches of rain in parts of Mexico, risking flash floods.

Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Jerry is strengthening in the Atlantic, with a hurricane watch issued.

Priscilla may weaken soon — but forecasters warn of life-threatening surf & rip currents.
