The First Supermoon of 2025 Is Coming This Monday

The moon will appear bigger and brighter as it comes closest to Earth in its orbit.

NASA says the October supermoon will look up to 14% larger and 30% brighter.

Everyone worldwide can see it with the naked eye — if skies are clear.

On Oct 6, the moon will be just 224,600 miles from Earth.

This is the first of three supermoons this year. The next ones are in November and December.

Supermoons often coincide with lunar eclipses or other rare sky events.
