The White House says TikTok’s new U.S. venture is valued at $14 billion.

Potential investors: Larry Ellison (Oracle), Michael Dell, Rupert & Lachlan Murdoch.

Oracle would monitor TikTok’s algorithm to ensure it’s not misused.

Reuters reports ByteDance may keep a larger-than-expected role in the U.S. venture.

In 2020, Trump tried to ban TikTok, citing national security risks from China.
